In FINSA´s facilities we have a laboratory with the necessary equipment to perform the appropriate tests as well as to assess our clients.

The main tests are:

  • Air permeability.
  • Determination of the average pore size.
  • Traction.
  • Elongation.
  • Perforation. Burst tests.
  • Abrasion.
  • Coefficient of friction.
  • Shrinkage.
  • Others: weight, thickness, fatigue …

We also have a pilot filter to perform filtration tests simulating the conditions of the original process to the maximum. In this way, with only between 1 and 5 liters of product, we can test different fabric references and thus find the one that best meets the customer’s requirements.

In these tests, performance can be evaluated in terms of retention, flow rate, clogging, moisture and cake discharge, clogging of the filtering medium and clarification of the filtrate.

FINSA offers all its customers the possibility of filtration and granulometric analysis with the customer’s own product to determine the most suitable filtering medium depending on the particles to be retained, less clogging, better discharge, maximum dryness of the cake, etc. In order to carry out these analyses, we have one of the best equipped laboratories nationwide.
