We also have two filter presses to carry out filtration tests simulating the conditions of the original process as much as possible. In this way, with only 1 to 5 litres of product, we can test different fabric references and thus find the one that best meets the client’s requirements.
These tests can evaluate performance in terms of retention, flow rate, clogging, moisture and cake detachment, clogging of the filter medium and clarification of the filtered product.
FINSA offers all its clients the possibility of carrying out filtration and particle size analyses with the client’s own product to determine the most suitable filter medium based on the particles to be retained, less clogging, better detachment, greater cake dryness, etc. To carry out these analyses, we have one of the best-equipped laboratories in the country.
