After many years of experience in liquid filtration, Limburg has developed a new product for leak-free filtration that ensures improved performance of filter presses. It has been designed to facilitate the mounting of fabrics on CGR type filter plates, eliminate leakage or crystallization problems and increase the safety of the filtration and washing process with acidic products.
Leaktite® is a thermoplastic elastomeric gasket with excellent technical characteristics and high chemical resistance. These recyclable gaskets can be fitted to almost any type of filter cloth, provided it is made of polypropylene, polyamide or polyester. In fact, it is a system that makes the cloth and plate become an integral part of the filter press, providing an excellent combination of filtration efficiency and economic result.
Leaktite® is available for fabrics that are intended to come into contact with food as it complies with EC directives 1935/2004, EC 10/2011 and FDA regulations.
