A calibrated fabric is a fabric that has undergone a calibration process to ensure a uniform mesh opening across its surface. This process involves meticulous control of the thickness and density of the threads used in its manufacture, with the aim of achieving a consistent and homogeneous textile structure.
Calibrated fabrics are used in a wide variety of applications where uniformity of the mesh opening is crucial, i.e. it is essential to retain particles of a very specific size and always specified by our client.
Finsa JOB | Group provides a wide range of calibrated fabrics made of polyamide (PA), polyester (PES) or polypropylene (PP). Within each type we find different mesh openings ranging from 7 to 4000 microns. These threads are carefully selected based on the specific needs of each application, ensuring that the resulting fabric meets the standards of strength and durability required in each case.
These fabrics can be supplied in rolls or in ready-made elements according to the availability and needs of each client. This wide variety of options allows us, together with our client, to select the most suitable fabric for the filtration, separation, sieving or transport needs, thus guaranteeing optimal performance in its final application.
Furthermore, our calibrated fabrics are manufactured using advanced production processes and cutting-edge technology, ensuring consistent and reliable quality in every roll or finished item we offer. This ensures that our customers get high-quality products that meet their most demanding expectations and requirements.
We have calibrated fabrics with various features and finishes, depending on the customer’s application:
